Now 13 years since I attended
ISL, I continue to carry the events/processes
of ISL with me daily. I most appreciate
                                            the confidence to live spiritually
                                            and connect spiritually in various
                                            dimensions of my life; maintaining
                                            a contemplative attitude in what
at times can be chaotic personal/political/professional
                                          engagements.
                                 Tim Metcalfe, ’89-90,
                                          Manawatu MSC, New Zealand

                                         The unique emphasis on personal
                                            awareness and self-leadership that
is integral to ISL's approach appeals
to all adults who seek further grounding
                                            in spirituality, whether for personal
                                        or professional reasons.
                                  Therefore, the scope of individuals
who will benefit from the program is
                                          broad, including:

                                                                          Persons in Relationship with Others

A familiarity with the tradition of Christian mystical spirituality and theology,
as well as depth psychology, is helpful but not at all required.

Diversity among program participants has long been one of the great strengths
  and riches of ISL.
